Robert M. Salyer became a partner at Wilson Barrows Salyer Jones (formerly Wilson and Barrows, Ltd.) in 2006. Mr. Salyer has been with the firm since he was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1998. Before practicing law, Mr. Salyer worked as a CPA for the largest public accounting firm in Nevada, Kafoury, Armstrong & Co.

Mr. Salyer holds a B.S. in Business (Accounting and Computer Information Systems) from the University of Nevada-Reno where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. After deciding to utilize his economic and financial skills in the field of law, Mr. Salyer attended the University of Kansas School of Law where he was a member of the Kansas Law Review.

In addition to being involved in the community through youth sports and Calvary Baptist Church, Mr. Salyer has served on the State Bar of Nevada Board of Bar Examiners since 2008 where he participates in writing and grading the Nevada Bar Exam. He is a board member of the Nevada CASA Association and a former board member of CASA of Northeastern Nevada. Through its volunteers, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) provides a voice in court for abused and neglected children.

Mr. Salyer is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
